Calling all Trekkies! Are you in New York? Cause if so you’re in luck! The Paley Center has a free traveling STAR TREK: 50 ARTISTS! 50 YEARS! at NYC Paley Center exhibit, which features 2-D and 3-D artwork, including illustrations, photographs, sculptures, paintings, graphics, and more. The artwork on display is composed by fifty artists from ten countries, including the late actor and photographer Leonard Nimoy and actress Mayim Bialik (The Big Bang Theory, Blossom).

The Paley Center is celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of the original Star Trek series with 10 of fan-selected screenings, family events, and panel discussions. Experience photo ops with backdrop re-creations of the Enterprise bridge with authentic costumes and the Gorn’s planet from the episode “Arena” complete with a Gorn re-creation.

Star Trek: 50 Artists! 50 Years! at NYC Paley Center

The Paley Center for Media is the only place in New York to catch this out-of-this-world art exhibit, “STAR TREK: 50 ARTISTS. 50 YEARS,” to commemorate Star Trek’s fiftieth anniversary.

The exhibit will be open from September 16 to 25, 2016, will feature original 2-D and 3-D artwork expressed through various mediums, by fifty artists from around the world, including the late actor and photographer Leonard Nimoy and actress Mayim Bialik of The Big Bang Theory. To celebrate the occasion, the Paley Center will host several Star Trek themed activities, programs and events, making this stop on the exhibit’s tour a must-see for any Trekkie.
