Ladies, Gentleman and whomever you may be this evening, come and be entertained by fabulous Burlesque performers, Drag Queens, Live Musical Performances and more! The Geek Play Cabaret: An LA LGBT Center Fundraiser in Los Angeles, CA!

This upcoming event is filled with so much eye candy you won’t be able to blink! Presented by Chris Riley and the fabulous performers of The Hollywood Jane Revue . The Hollywood Jane Revue are proud to bring to some of their outstanding, signature Nerdlesque acts along with some delightful Drag Queen divas that will surely not disappoint.

“This is the first time Chris Riley and The Hollywood Jane Revue have teamed up to produce a show. We decided we wanted to put together this fundraiser shortly after the presidential election because we felt it was important to give something back. We will be having a raffle during the show to raise additional money that will include many fabulous prizes like: a lux vibrator gift bag from The Pleasure Chest, burlesque classes, tickets to upcoming shows presented by Rockwell Table & Stage, tickets to many other local burlesque shows, 2 park hopper tickets to Disneyland, and more!” – Blanche Bourgeois

Benefitting the Community

The Geek Play Cabaret event is a fundraiser to benefit the Los Angeles LGBT Center . The LA LGBT Center is an astounding facility that offers support for L.A.’s queer community through health services, social services & housing, culture & education and more. They provide help with the queer community of all ages, especially with queer youth and the issues they face from difficult home lives. These services and more are an extremely important need for the community and the donations they receive help them continue to offer these amazing and necessary services. Even if you’re unable to attend the event (though I hope you can make it!) you can donate directly on the homepage of the Center’s website. If you would like to offer other forms of help, their website also has a “How You Can Help” page that offers information on volunteering, donating, purchasing items from their shop and more!

There isn’t generally one specific time period for dapper dress but most people refer to the 40’s/50’s/60’s for their inspiration. These looks include bow ties, neckties, petticoats under dresses, gloves, hats, heels, fine jewelry, dresses, suits, dress shoes and more! Get creative!
